Converge for the surge

While the U.S. military is busy bringing democracy to Iraq, we're going to bring heavy metal to downtown West Palm Beach.

This will be a benefit concert for anti-war causes, and it follows an afternoon of activist workshops inside Respectable Street, the oldest alternative nightclub in the southeast United States.

To properly sympathize with our Iraqi brothers and sisters (the ones who aren't Al Qaeda, that is), we're going to play acoustic heavy-metal — because in places like Baghdad and Basra, there's no power.

We hope you'll join us for a special evening of acoustic heavy metal, a burka fashion show, and an Abu Graib live demonstration of human rights abuses by local S&M afficianados. Email us with questions or insults.
